! stick butter
1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
5 eggs (separated)
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp, soda
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut

Icing
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, oil and sugar. Add egg yolks one at a time. Stir soda into buttermilk. Add sifted flour to batter, alternating with buttermilk. Add vanilla, coconut and nuts. Beat egg whites and fold into mixture. Bake in 3 layers at 325º for 30 - 45 minutes.
Mix icing ingredients - cream the cream cheese and butter, add powdered sugar nuts and vanilla. Allow cake to cool before icing.
