Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 green bell peppers
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup milk
1 large egg
Oil, for frying
Sea salt, for sprinkling

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 365 degrees or in a large, deep pot over medium-high heat.
Slice the tops off of each green pepper.
With a sharp knife, loosen the ribs from the inside of the peppers.
Twist out the ribs and seeds from the inside of the peppers with your hands.
Slice the bell peppers into 1/2 inch thick rings.
In a shallow medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, paprika and pepper.
In a separate medium-sized bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
Dredge the pepper rings in the flour mixture.
Add the pepper rings in the egg mixture to coat, gently shaking to allow the excess to drip off.
Dredge once more in the flour mixture.
Add the pepper rings to the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. If you are using a stove top, the time may be more or less, depending on how hot your oil is, so just keep a close eye on them.
Remove the pepper rings from the oil with tongs and drain on paper towels.
Immediately dust the pepper rings with some sea salt, to taste.
