2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 steak (any cut), cut into 1-in cubes (or stewing beef)
1/3 c. of flour
1 tsp. salt
Freshly ground pepper
2 Tbsp. onion soup mix
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
2 bay leaves
2 Tbsp. beef bouillon powder
6 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Collection of root vegetables (cut into 1-inch cubes)
1 large onion, cut into wedges

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour oil into roasting pan, coat steak and brown for approximately 40 mins., stirring frequently.
2. Add flour and seasonings (salt, pepper, onion, oregano, marjoram) -- stirring well to mix.
3. Combine bouillon and boiling water and add to stew with bay leaves and Worcestershire sauce. Add vegetables. Stir until combined.
4. Cook for 3.5 hours stirring occasionally. (If starting the process at 1:45 pm, stew will be ready around 6 pm.)
