1 tbsp. basil, minced
1 tbsp. Italian parsley, chopped
1 tsp. garlic, minced
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. ground black pepper
½ tsp. Kosher salt or sea salt
½ tsp. rosemary, chopped
½ tsp. red pepper flakes, crushed
½ tsp.olive oil
¼ tsp. fresh lemon juice

Combine all ingredients except olive oil and lemon juice. Chop in food processor until all ingredients are about the same size. Stir in olive oil and lemon juice. To serve: Combine 1½ tsp. of spice blend with 3-4 tbsp. of olive oil on a small plate.

This is a great dipping sauce for French bread. I make it ahead, but leave out the last two ingredients, and seal it in a Ziploc® or vaccum bag. Then I add the liquid ingredients when I'm ready to use it.
