2 c flour
2 t baking powder
½ t salt
¼ t soda
¼ c shortening
¾ c buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk. Roll out on to a floured board. Cut and place on an ungreased sheet pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

You can mix all but the buttermilk and keep in a tightly close container in the refrigerator. Using as needed. Aunt Virginia would double the amount when doing this.
