3 lbs yellow squash
½ c chopped onion
½ c bread crumbs
½ t black pepper
Pinch nutmeg
2 eggs
1 stick butter
1 T sugar
1t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and cut up squash. Boil until tender, drain thoroughly, then mash. Add all ingredients except ½ of butter. Melt remaining butter. Pour mixture into a baking dish, then top with butter and sprinkle with more bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 1 hour or until brown on top.
