1 cube melted butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. anise
1 tbsp. rum
1 tbsp. brandy or whisky

Dry ingredients:
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups flour
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup candied fruit
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar to melted butter. Cream together. Add 3 eggs one at a time and beat with a spoon.

Mix together liquid ingredients and add to sugar mixture.

Sift together dry ingredients. Add to sugar mixture. Add nuts, raisins, and candied fruit. Mix until smooth. Cook about 1 hour at 350 º in greased flute pan.
