6 pork chops (not thin chops)
2 medium acorn squash, washed, sliced ~1 inch thick (leave rind on)
3/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
3/4 teaspoon brown bouquet sauce
1 tablespoon orange juice
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel (or use orange peel from jar in seasoning aisle)

Directions:
Trim excess fat from chops. Wash squash and cut each into 4-5 crosswise slices, remove seeds, leave rind on. Arrange 3 chops on bottom of slow-cooking pot (rub butter inside pot, if desired) and place all squash slices on top, then another layer of 3 remaining chops. Combine salt, butter, sugar, bouquet sauce, orange juice, and orange peel; spoon over chops.

Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hrs or until done.

Serve one chop with two slices of squash.

Personal Notes:
Try recipe as is and enjoy. I kept the rind on squash to help hold them together vs becoming a mushy mess. It tastes good and is easy to prep and cook. It does have a lot of sugar and meat, so it's recommended to hit the gym after eating.
