1 box White cake mix
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flaked coconut
1 (16 oz.) container of cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix as directed, baking in a 9x13 inch pan. Cool 15 minutes. Then poke holes through the cake with a large 2 prong fork.
While the cake is cooling, combine the milk, sugar and 1/2 cup of the coconut in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce and heat and simmer 1 minute. Carefully spoon it over the cake, allowing the liquid to soak down through holes.(The milk mixture appears to be too much liquid, but you need to use all of it.
Cool completely. Fold 1/2 cup of the coconut in to the whipped topping and spread over the cake. Sprinkle with remaining coconut on top. Chill overnight. Store in the refrigerator.
