1 lb lean ground beef
3 bacon slices
2 cans tomato sauce + 2 cups water
1 cup long-cook rice
chopped peppers & onion
chili powder, and cumin to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute bacon slices and when nearly finished, add hamburger. Carmelize til finished, then add chopped peppers and onion. Sweat it out. Finally add rice and liquid. Add spices.

Place in covered pot and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Stir every 2 minutes or so. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
