1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tbs lemon juice or lemon extract
1 can cherry pie filling
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and butter together until light and fluffy with an electric mixer at medium speed. Add eggs one at a time to the above mixture. Beating after each. Then add flour and lemon juice. Pour the batter into a greased 10x15x1 pan (a long jelly roll like pan or a cookie sheet with sides). Mark off into 20 squares. Place 1 tbs pie filling in center of each square. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes. While warm sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool and cut into squares. (If you like blueberry or some other pie filling give it a try too.)
