1/3 c margarine
1/4 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2 c pastry flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 c well-mashed bananas
chopped nuts
glaze

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly grease a 6 1/2 c ring mold. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cream margarine and sugars and blend in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt and add to creamed mixture alternately with mashed bananas mixing well after each addition. Fold in 1/2 c chopped nuts (optional). Pour into greased ring mold and bake at 350ºF 30 to 35 min. Cool 10 min and turn out of pan. Glaze and sprinkle with nuts.

Glaze
1 1/3 c sifted icing sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
dash of salt
Combine ingredients and mix well.
