2 tbsp. margarine
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 can sliced peaches, drained (1lb)
9 maraschino cherry halves
1 1/3 cups Bisquick or plain white cake mix.
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
3 tbsp. margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt 2 tbsp. margarine over low heat in a 9" round layer pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar, arrange peach slices and cherry halves in pan. Set aside.

Mix cake mix, sugar, 1/4 of milk, 3 tbsp. margarine, egg and vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 1 minute. Add remaining 1/2 cup milk and continue beating for 1/2 minute. Pour batter over fruit.

Bake at 350ºF for 40 minutes or until done. Invert at once on serving plate. Allow pan to remain over cake for a few minutes so the sugar mixture and run over the cake. Serve warm. Can be served with whipped cream.
