Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 large clove garlic, chopped
1 medium size onion, chopped
1 can no-salt added/low sodium diced tomatoes
approx. ¼ of a small head of cabbage, chopped ½-2" pieces
seasoning to taste, Tony Chachere's® works well
Better than Bouillon® Beef Base (comes in a jar)

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly brown ground beef with garlic and onions, in a soup pot. Drain excess fat. Add diced tomatoes, plus 3 cans of water. (Or 1 can of water and 2 cans of beef broth). Bring to bubble while you chop the cabbage.
The quantity of cabbage is to taste, but I use ¼ of a small head of cabbage (and less if the head is large). Don't need to chop into bits like onion.
Add to the mixture. Season to taste. If you use Better than Bouillon, use less salt. Taste before you season. Tony Chachere's goes well with this soup. Simmer until done, about 20 minutes. Don't boil or overcook.

Personal Notes:
What works best in all soups is the soup base "Better than Bouillon". Use one heaping teaspoon of their beef flavoring instead of broth. It has better flavor than broth.
