8 ounces fresh or frozen medium shrimp in shells (I used more because I like shrimp)
1/2 cup chopped green sweet pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 medium tomato, chopped
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon snipped fresh basil
1 teaspoon snipped fresh thyme

Thaw shrimp if frozen. Peel and devein shrimp. Rinse shrimp, pat dry on paper towels. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil, add green pepper, onion and garlic. Cook until tender. Add tomato, broth and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
Stir in shrimp. Return to a boil. Reduce heat.
Simmer, covered for 2 to 3 minutes or until the shrimp are done. Stir in basil and thyme.
