1 Bag of salad mix or 1 head of cut up lettuce
1 large tomato (diced)
1/2 red onion diced
1 can of red kidney beans (drained/rinsed)
2 cups of grated Mexican blend cheese
1 lb of ground turkey or beef
1 bag of tortilla chips crushed up
1 bottle of Kraft Catalina dressing
1/2 bottle of Kraft Thousand Island dressing.
salt & pepper

Cook ground meat in frying pan season to taste, drain and set aside. Mix all other ingredients together, tossing them in a large bowl. Add the ground meat, dressings and chips last.

We eat this salad maybe once a week. I have made this for over 35 years and now all my kids make it. This is something I make for Pot-Lucks and always get kudos for it.
