1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
2 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 cup milk
1 T lemon juice
1 cup mashed bananas
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the shortening and the sugar, add the unbeaten eggs. Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the first mixture. Then add milk, lemon juice and bananas. Bake in 375º oven 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
