1 tbsp. yeast
1 c. warm water
3 c. flour
1/2 stick butter (melted)
1/2 stick margarine (melted)
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast with warm water and let stand until it forms a creamy foam layer on top, 5 to 10 minutes.

In a large bowl place 3 cups of all purpose flour. Add the yeast mixture, egg, salt, butter, and margarine. Begin mixing and add in more flour until dough is shiny and no longer sticky.( You can also use your KitchenAid with dough hook attachment.) Once dough has completely come together, kneed and form a ball, place back in the bowl, cover and let rest until the dough has doubled in size.

Punch down and roll out to cover the bottom of your baking sheet. Add your filling, roll out the remaining dough and place over the top.

Bake at 350º until golden brown.
