Swedish Rice Recipe

2 c. White Rice, cooked
2 c. Whole Milk, heated
1 T. Butter, melted
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 Eggs
1/3 c. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
Cinnamon
1 Almond

Directions:
Directions:
Combine rice, milk, butter, and salt. Beat together eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Combine mixture and add one almond. Place in greased casserole. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Place casserole in pan of warm water.

Bake at 350º for one hour or until set.

A tradition at Christmas and Easter. Whoever gets the almond will be the next to marry or have a baby. It also signifies good luck.
