2 c. flour
1/2 c. soya flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. honey
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix dry and wet ingredients separately. Combine.
2. Kneed and roll and set for 10 minutes. Repeat this step.
3. Roll 1/8" thick and cut. Baste with egg white and salt lightly.
4. Bake for 6 minutes or until stiff and dry. Yields 25 pieces that are 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" each.

Variations: Add 1 tsp. molasses; or add sesame seeds after rolling; or use 1/2 whole wheat flour and 1/2 white flour; or use 1/2 rye and 1/2 wheat flours.
