2 eggs cooked for 10 minutes and cooled
2 raw eggs, separated
1 c. unsalted butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. brandy or vanilla
3 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the raw and cooked egg yolks. Cream the butter, add the sugar, then the egg yolks, flavoring and flour. Take a melon-ball sized portion of dough, roll it between palms and form into a wreath. Dip it in raw egg white and then in crushed loaf sugar. Keep the dough cool. Bake on a greased cookie sheet until lightly browned on the bottom.

This is Mother's recipe. She didn't specify the oven temperature; I bake them at 350°.
