1 lb Ground Beef
1/2 c Green Pepper, chopped
1 c Onion, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1 16 oz can Chili Con Carne
1 12 oz can Whole Kernel corn, drained
1 8 oz can Tomato Sauce
1 4.25 oz can Chopped Olives
1 Clove Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Sugar
2-3 tsp Chili Powder
Dash of Black Pepper
1 1/2 c Cheddar Cheese, shredded
2 c Cold Water
3/4 c Yellow Cornmeal
1/2 tsp Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat, onions, and green peppers. Drain. Stir in chili con carne, corn, tomato sauce, olives, garlic, sugar, chili powder, and pepper. Simmer uncovered about 30 minutes or until mixture thickens. Add cheese and stir until melted. Put mixture in 9" x 13" baking dish.

Place cold water in saucepan. Stir in cornmeal and salt. Cook and stir until very thick (1/2 to 1 minute after mixture comes to boiling). Spoon in strips over hot meat mixture. bake uncovered @ 375 for 25 minutes.
