11 cups water
2 cups vinegar
cup pickling salt
dill
6 or more toes of garlic
1 Tbsp. pickling spice
1 Tbsp. crushed red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Boil water, vinegar & pickling salt 3 minutes and let cool a little. Line an ice cream bucket or gallon jar with dill, 6 or more toes of garlic, pickling spice and crushed red pepper. Slice cucumbers into spears and place in bucket. Place a little more dill on top. Pour water, vinegar, salt brine over top till covered. Leave on the counter for 24 hours, then refrigerate. These last many months.
