2 c. potatoes, diced
1 c. celery
1 c. onion
2 cans clams
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Put vegetables in pan. Add water just to come to top of vegetables. Pour juice of clams to cook with vegetables. Cook until tender.

Sauce: Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour, salt, pepper, and sugar. Add evaporated milk and milk. Cook until thick. Add clams. If it gets soup too thick, add more milk.
