1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups blueberries
additional sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 370º. Place cupcake papers into muffin tins. Using an electric mixer, mix butter and sugar until light. Add eggs. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk and vanilla. Fold in blueberries and spoon into cups. Sprinkle with sugar and bake 30 minutes.

I use frozen blueberries and let a few get "smashed" into the batter. If available, use coarse sugar to sprinkle on top. If using regular sugar, use lots of it.
