3 pounds ground beef
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
1 cup oats
1 cup cracker crumbs
1/2 tsp pepper
2 eggs
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
2 tsp salt
2 tsp chili powder



Sauce:
2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1/2 cup onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 10 ingredients. Shape into walnut size balls. Place in a single layer in baking pan. Mix sauce ingredients together; stir until sugar dissolves. Pour sauce over meatballs. Bake 350º for 1 hour.

Personal Notes:
Sauce gets super greasy. So after the meatballs have baked, I prefer to remove them from the sauce and place in a crock pot. Throw out the greasy sauce and make a fresh batch of sauce to pour over the meatballs. Keep warm in the crock pot.
