1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Cup Carrots, grated
1 Cup Apples, grated
1 Cup Raisins
1/2 Cup Flour
1/4 tsp Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp (scant) Cloves
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 Cups Bread Crumbs
1 Cup Walnuts, choose

Lemon Sauce
1 Qt. Water
1/2 Cup Cornstarch
1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter
1/4 tsp Salt
Lemon Rind
Mix together and boil for 2 minutes

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, Mix in sugar, eggs and cream, then add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Put in Wide Mouth Quart Jars, filling 2/3 way full. Punch holes in lids then put lids on jars.. Put in a water bath and steam for 2 hours.. Serve with Lemon Sauce.
