12 Cucumbers
1 Gallon Cold Water
6 Onions
1 Cup Canning Salt

3 Cups Vinegar
1 tsp Celery Seed
1 Tbsp Mustard Seed
1 Cup Water
1 tsp Turmeric
2 1/2 Cups Sugar

Slice cucumbers and onions thin.
Dissolve salt in water and pour over cucumbers and soak overnight.

The following day, in saucepan, combine: Vinegar, celery salt, mustard seed, turmeric and sugar. Mix together and bring to boil. Add drained cucumber mixture and return to boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Put them in jars immediately so they will seal while hot.
