1/2 cup of butter
3 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar sifted
Few grain of salt
4-5 T of milk or half and half
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and add the sugar gradually. Add salt and stir in milk alt tole at a time. Beat until fluffy. Makes enough for two 9 inch layers. Ice when cake is cool.
