1/2 cup rice
1 1/4 cups water
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup raisins

ground cinnamon, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Bring rice, water, and cinnamon stick to a boil in a medium size pot. Lower heat and simmer for about 10 minutes (no need to cover). Add the raisins and continue cooking an additional 5 minutes. Stir in the sugar & milk. When it comes to a second boil, remove from heat & sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Let cool for a few minutes. You can remove & discard the cinnamon stick. Serve with buttered toast while still warm.
