Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We had these burgers on Saturday night on Pathfinder campouts when we lived in Tallahassee. One camporee we sold them on Saturday night and were amused to overhear one child say to another, "I didn't know they allowed meat here!"

It is difficult to know how many burgers this recipe makes because it depends on the size of the patty. We always fried them ahead and froze them, the we refried them before serving them. I make a large batch and freeze them at home in freezer bags. I remove one bag to thaw in the refrigerator and eat them for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
