3 Tablespoons butter, softened
3/4 cups flour, all-purpose
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash hot pepper sauce

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Form the dough into 1-inch rolls. Wrap in foil and refrigerate or freeze until it is cold enough to slice as thin as possible, under 1/4 inch.

When ready to bake, preheat oven to 475º. Bake in preheated oven about 12 minutes.

Alternate idea: Instead of chilling dough, place in a pastry tube to make straws or use a cookie press to make ribbons.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Roy enjoys making these. He doesn't bother with chilling the dough or using the pastry tube or cookie press. He just forms the dough into patties shaped by hand and bakes them.
