1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick cinnamon
3 or 4 TBSP of small cinnamon candies

Directions:

1. Slice apples in rings and cook in above until soft. Dip apples out with slotted spoon and use leftover juices:

3 tbsp Vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

2. With all pieces left from apples and plenty of them. Cook on stovetop until thick and soft.
