1/3 Cups shortening
2 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate
1/2 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Cup. Sugar
2 Eggs
3/4 Cups Flour
1/4 Tsp. salt

Heat oven at 325 F
Grease 8" square pan

Melt together shortening, unsweetened chocolate. Cool

Beat together Vanilla, Sugar, Eggs. Lightly add to cooled chocolate mixture.

Sift together Flour, Salt. Blend into Chocolate mixture.

Bake for 25 minutes. Don't over bake.

Ice with Butter Icing if desired,
