Ingredients:  
2 c. sugar
2 1/8 squares bitter chocolate
3/4 c. milk
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 T. margarine or butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, chocolate, milk and salt in large saucepan.
Stir occasionally but do not over stir.
Boil until drops of mixture makes a ball when dropped into a glass of cold water.
Take off heat and add margarine. Let melt on its own.
Cool 5-10 minutes.
Add vanilla and beat with mixer. Beat until it starts to harden.
Add nuts and spread on buttered plate.
