1/2 C. Shortening
1 1/2 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
1 C. Very Ripe Bananas ( 3 )
3 T. Sourcream
1 3/4 C. Flour
1 t. Baking Soda
1 t. Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300*

Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.

In small bowl mix flour and baking soda and set aside. Separate eggs and stiffly beat egg whites. In large bowl cream together egg yokes, shortening and sugar. Add vanilla and sourcream. Mix. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites last. Pour into loaf pans. Bake for about 45 min. or until golden brown.

If you have overripe bananas put them in the freezer. They are perfect for banana bread and make it so moist!
