1/12 -2 lb Steak. I like to use lean meat.
4 med to large potatoes peeled and cute into cubes
1 cup of slice or cut carrots
1 tsp of crushed garlic
1/2 tsp parsley
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp Garlic and Herb Mrs Dash
1 box of Beef Broth or 3 cans.

Cut steak into cubes and saute in a not stick large pot. When steak lookS half way cooked add crushed garlic and finish cooking. You can add a little water off and on when cooking so the steak and garlic do not burn. When fully cooked and 1/2 cup of water, and 3/4 of the beef broth. Then add cut carrots, Mrs. Dash, garlic salt, parsley let cook at a low boil for 1 1/2 hours.
Add potatoes and the last of the beef broth and let cook till potatoes are soft. aprox. 30-40 minutes.

*This stew that has thin broth but if you like a thicker broth you can add 1 package of Brown gravy powder after the potatoes are cooked and let cook another 5-10 minutes.

My kids love this! You can add more vegetable if you want.I would puree broccoli and other veggies and add to the broth. GREAT ON A COLD DAY!
