1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 2 1/2 to 3 1b. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
1 c. crushed cornflakes or crushed potato chips or 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter or margarine, salt, and pepper. Brush chicken with butter mixture, then roll in cornflakes, potato chips or bread crumbs. Place chicken, skin side up, without touching in an ungreased , large shallow baking pan. Bake at 375º until tender, about 1 hour. Do not turn. Season to taste with salt.
