Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
While diving in the mysterious Cenotes of Mexico, we were captured by indigenous rebel forces. We were able to negotiate our release after the tribal leaders thought we were "special" because we returned from the depths of UgaBuga Cenote. Apparently, when you're tossed in you don't return!! The villagers do not know how to swim, but who are we to destroy their cultural beliefs. Before leaving, a diminutive woman screamed "eat a meat ball." After tasting the sauce, we insisted she share this mystical recipe and she agreed. Inside her dirt floor hovel, she prepared the magic sauce. During her preparation, Jeff asked her to bang out a song on the pan flute. Unfortunately for us, Jeff forgot we were not in Peru but rather in Mexico and we were taken hostage once again! Apparently the villagers were offended by the pan flute jam request. After being thrown into the Cenote, we began to tread water and were once again considered "special." This time we left the village!! This story may or may not be true--I have had too much Mayan Sauce so I can't remember.
More plausible story: Jeff was tired of "regular" barbeque sauce with meatballs, so he made his own!
