1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
⅓ c. dark rum
¼ c. distilled white vinegar
¼ c. molasses
2 medium cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. Jamaican Pickapeppa® Sauce*
1 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
¼ tsp. hot sauce (Tiger Sauce®, Tabasco®)*

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for 2 minutes. Pour into a saucepan and bring to a quick boil, do not boil too long so as not to caramelize the molasses. Let cool and use. Sauce is good on meat, chicken and shell fish.
* Buy Pickapeppa and Tiger Sauce at HEB®, etc.

While exploring and fending off wild boar in the jungles of Borneo... Actually, Jeff can't leave a basic recipe alone without modifications so he added the sauce to excellent homemade smoked sausage. This is always a hit.
