3 egg yolks (beaten)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. rum flavoring
1 1/2 cup milk
1 pkg. Knox Gelatin
1/4 cup water
3 egg whites (well beaten)
1/4 cup sugar
1 baked pie shell
Whipped cream or Dream Whip or Cool Whip
grated sweet chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the egg yolks, sugar, salt, nutmeg, rum flavoring and milk in a double boiler until it coats a spoon. Remove from heat and add gelatin that has been dissolved in water; cool and fold in the egg whites that have been beaten with the quarter cup of sugar. Pour into a baked pie shell. Top with the whipped cream or Cool Whip. Sprinkle with the grated sweet chocolate.
