6-8 Portabella mushrooms
4 Tbsp. Butter
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
4-5 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese

These are the larger mushrooms and you will want to take a paper towel and wipe off any grit on the mushroom. Dennis pulls out the stems and chops them up and adds them to the mixture.

Preheat oven to 375º.

Sautee mushroom caps in butter for about 5 minutes. Save the butter and set aside. Place caps in an oven-proof dish. Mix cream cheese with the crumbled bacon and fill mushroom caps with mixture, heaping the mix a little bit. Top with grated cheese. Pour the remaining butter from sautéing around the mushrooms and bake for about 8-12 minutes. Cheese on top should be melted. Best when served warm.
