2 chicken breasts with skin and bones
salt, pepper and garlic, to taste
1 c. rice
2½ - 3 c. chicken broth
6 tbsp. butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken breasts in medium saucepan and cover with water, and cook until tender. I do an hour at least. Shred chicken with fingers. Measure the homemade broth that chicken was cooked in. Return chicken, broth, and rice to the saucepan. You can use canned broth to make up to required quantity. Add your favorite spices and seasonings, to taste. Cook till you can't wait any longer, or at least until rice is cooked! (Add a little water if needed. Needs to be a little wet and soupy.)
