Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 can Eagle Brand® sweetened condensed milk
Ritz® crackers
canned icing

Directions:
Directions:
Cook dates, pecans and condensed milk over medium heat until mixture
'gloms' together. This usually takes 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally at first, but more often as it all meshes together. Place a single layer of Ritz crackers on serving plate. Put a small spoonful on each cracker. By the time you've finished the last one, the first ones will be cool and then just drop a dollop of any flavor white canned icing on the top.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The original recipe called for one box of chopped dates and one cup of chopped pecans. But I couldn't find a box at Kroger®, so I used 2 bags and I liked the result. This should make approximately 3 sleeves of Ritz crackers. If you use fat-free Eagle Brand and the reduced fat Ritz crackers, you can have a semi-healthy dessert. My best friend in Courtland, Alabama taught me this recipe. When I asked her what they were called, she told me that it didn't have a name. When I made them for a jobsite in Arizona where I was working, one welder asked me what it was and I told him it had no name. So I asked him what it looked like and he said: Sh** on a Ritz - and the name has stuck. Leave it to a welder...
