1 cup butter;
2 cups sugar;
1-1/2 tsp vanilla;
3 eggs;
3 cups flour;
2 tsp baking powder;
1/2 tsp salt;
1 cup milk;
1 (12 oz) bag of chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Mix flour with soda and salt. Alternate adding dry mix and milk into batter. Chop chocolate chips in blender (about 1/4 cup at a time). Add chopped chips to batter.

Pour into greased and floured bundt pan or 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour and then check with tester to see if it needs a few more minutes.

The recipe calls for a bag of mini chips, but I find the chopped chips melt better. The Wrights like it best when undercooked just a bit then we all (except Stu) fight over the bottom which ends up gooey and lovely. When on of these cakes was on the counter, it was very common to lift the cover and find it on its side with the bottom cut away!
