2-3 cups fresh fruit
1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
dash ground nutmeg
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine fruit & 3/4 cup sugar; set aside. Pour melted butter into an 8x8 baking dish. In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and remaining sugar. Stir in milk until combined (don't over-stir). Pour mixture over the butter. Top with fruit. Bake at 375º for 50 minutes or top is golden.
