Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup flour (white only)
1 cup heavy whipping crean
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
5 cups corn (frozen or fresh)
1/4 cups shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add cream, milk, sugar, salt. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Add corn and heat through. Transfer mixture to an ungreased, broiler safe, baking dish. Sprinkle cheese on top, and broil for 3-5 minutes until slightly browned & bubbly.

Alternative directions: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl (except cheese), and beat until flour is mixed. Put mixture into a greased crockpot. Heat on low for 3-5 hours. Sprinkle cheese on top 15 minutes before serving. This alternative way of cooking this dish is nice for holiday gatherings. It's not quite as perfect as the first recipe, but it's helpful when you don't have a lot of time to dedicate to the dish.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I make this dish at almost every holiday meal. I don't feel like it's Christmas or Easter without this corn!
