1 pkg. lime Jell-o
1 cup pear juice
2-3 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
1 can size 303 pears (drained)
1 cup cool whip
1/3 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve the Jell-o in the boiling pear juice. Cut up the cream cheese and mash it up into smaller pieces with a fork. Add it to the Jell-o mixture and put it into the refrigerator to set until it is syrupy or thickened, then fold in pears, cool whip and nuts. Put into a slightly greased mold or square pan. Chill until firm.

My mother-in-law liked making this salad and I fell in love with the taste and texture. It is really simple and fun to make. If you don't like nuts you can leave them out, but I personally like the texture of the nuts in this salad.
