2 Pkg Yeast
1 Tbl Sugar
1 Cup Milk
6 Tbl Shortening
1 Cup Lukewarm Water
1 Tsp Salt
7 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
3 Eggs beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve 1 Tbl Sugar and yeast in water. Scald milk, add salt, 1/2 Cup Sugar and shortening. Cool to lukewarm. Add 2 Cup flour to make batter, add yeast and beaten eggs, beat well, add rest of flour or enough to make soft dough. Knead lightly and place in warm place away from draft. Let stand till double in bulk. About 2 hours. Knead dough and shape.

Use for doughnuts, breakfast sweet rolls (bear claws etc) any sweet bread item you want.
