2 egg whites, unbeaten
1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
c white sugar
t salt
5 T prune juice
2 t lemon juice
6 cooked prunes, drained and chopped
2 T chopped, toasted almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly in top of double boiler unbeaten egg whites, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt and unsweetened prune juice. Place over rapidly boiling water and beat constantly with rotary egg beater until mixture will hold peak or about 7 minutes. Remove from hot water, and beat until cool and thick enough to spread. Stir in lemon juice, prunes and almonds.
